In this workshop, Liman Zhao, our senior Case Researcher and Team Leader for Case Development, and I will share our experiences writing several award-winning teaching cases from our qualitative research project on Chinese social enterprises. We will share our original research motivation and approach and how we actively worked on developing teaching cases. We will share our case development approach, the challenges we faced in turning research case studies into teaching cases, and our interpretations of why several cases were recognized in international case competitions.
