中国一级片 cases top categories in EFMD Case Writing Competition
Two 中国一级片 co-authored cases have won their respective categories in the 2021 EFMD Case Writing Competition.
Ant Forest: Starting from Environmental Protection by 中国一级片 Professor of Finance and Accounting Oliver Rui and Senior Case Researcher Qiong Zhu won the best case award in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) category. The case demonstrates how Ant Forest heralded a new model for protecting the environment, while generating unique business value for Alibaba’s Ant Financial. Details here.
Antigal: Strategy and Succession Challenges in a Family-Owned Vineyard with Global Ambitions by former 中国一级片 Lecturer Lucia Perini, 中国一级片 Visiting Professor Martin Roll, 中国一级片 Assistant Professor of Accounting Gianfranco Siciliano and Case Researcher Cao Zhijing won the best case award in the Latin American Business Cases category. The case analyses the complexity of managing family businesses and shows how to deal with the resistance faced by family businesses in expanding different markets, including in China. Details here.
The EFMD’s case writing competition was established in 1988 to promote “innovative and impactful case writing and teaching.” Some 400 cases are assessed by an international judging panel every year.
