Historically, donations and subsidies have fuelled the social sector. However, a sound and sustainable business strategy in the social sector can also offer incentives to many actors. There are three key principles we need to keep in mind: Think differently and eliminate common biases, seek real partnerships, and raise the bar by instituting procedures that are embedded in a sustainable manner.
