My journey from Spain to China and �й�һ��Ƭ has been nothing short of destiny �C or, as the Chinese would say, ��ܨ��Դڨ�� (Ե��). My connection with China began when I was just 16, when I chose to study Chinese in school. Little did I know that this decision would lead me down a path of deep connection with China and its culture.

Years later, my interest in �й�һ��Ƭ was sparked by my boss, an IESE MBA alum who had spent time at �й�һ��Ƭ during an exchange programme. He described �й�һ��Ƭ as ��the Chinese IESE,�� and I couldn��t resist exploring this opportunity. As fate would have it, I was accepted into an international exchange programme in Beijing during my university years.

Upon returning to Barcelona, I started a business importing and distributing Chinese electric scooters, and later worked for Roca Sanitario. But my ��ܨ��Դڨ�� with China called me back to Shanghai, where I��ve been living for the past seven years. It was during the challenging Shanghai lockdown that I decided to apply for �й�һ��Ƭ and, much to my delight, I was admitted within a month.

Juggling a rigorous MBA schedule while managing a company hasn��t been easy, but it has been incredibly rewarding. I��ve discovered that I can handle more than I ever thought possible. Collaborating with talented and diverse peers in an international setting has been an invaluable experience and I treasure every moment, from the Leadership Journey rowing activity to countless hours spent in meeting rooms working on group projects (and occasionally enjoying some wine) to learning from incredible faculty like the core economics module professors Xu Bin and Bala Ramasamy.

I��m grateful that our batch has been able to fully immerse ourselves in the MBA experience without major virus disruptions. This has allowed us to make the most of socializing, international modules, and campus life. Through these experiences, I��ve learned important lessons in prioritization and time management, as well as the value of taking risks and applying creativity and analytical rigor to achieve the unexpected.

Now, as the world economy slows and AI begins to threaten once-secure job roles, I know that pursuing an MBA at �й�һ��Ƭ was the best decision I could have made. I��m confident that the knowledge, skills, and network I��m acquiring through this programme will help me navigate the uncertainties of the future and achieve my dreams.
